NMMA Canada adopts U.S. dues schedule

BOLTON, Ontario — NMMA Canada will adopt the same dues schedule as its U.S. counterpart, the association recently announced, unifying the membership year of all North American NMMA members. The new dues year will be phased in with a shortened 8-month dues period followed by a full 12-month period in June 2009.

“By creating a unified North American dues schedule, NMMA Canada members will not only see a cost savings in their membership dues, but gain access to member benefits not available under the previous structure,” said Sara Anghel, NMMA Canada’s vice president of Government Relations, in a press release.

NMMA Canada members will also begin collecting member points, used in booth space allocation for the Miami International Boat show, as well as NMMA trade events such as the Marine Aftermarket Accessory Trade Show and the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference.

NMMA Canada is the Canadian division of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Earlier this year, NMMA Canada merged with the Canadian Marine Manufacturers Association.
