New SailTime program allows worldwide access

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The SailTime Group LLC has launched a new program called SailTime Plus, which allows members from one base to access boats at SailTime bases worldwide, the company said in a release this week.

With more than 50 base locations in North America and Europe, SailTime’s members now have access to luxury boats on a global basis. They can reserve boats at other bases days or weeks in advance based on their travel schedule.

“SailTime Plus is a great value-add for our members,” said Wayne Diviney, CEO and president of SailTime. “Whether they are traveling for business or for pleasure, members can reserve boats in more than 50 locations, including premiere destination spots like Miami, Puerto Rico, Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and the south coast of England.”

“Those traveling for business can now entertain and market clients on a luxury yacht, while those on vacation can enjoy time on the water and an unparalleled family vacation experience,” adds SailTime founder George Bonelli. “With our partnership with Hunter Boats in the U.S. and Beneteau in Europe, members now have access to a fleet of top-of-the-line, luxury sailboats in premiere waterfront locations.”

Members who sign up for SailTime Plus can take advantage of up to seven days of sailing at each desired location, depending on boat availability. These times do not count against their regular monthly sail time allotment. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of travel. Prices vary per base but are significantly lower than charter or sailing club fees. PLUS Members can also reserve different boats at their home base, or larger boats, as long as they complete the appropriate additional training required for each vessel.
