Hexion to increase prices

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The U.S. Composite Resins business of Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., will increase prices by $0.08 per pound on all unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, effective for products shipped on or after Aug. 15, 2008, the company said in a release this week.

“This price increase reflects the continued escalation of energy and chemical intermediate costs,” Hexion wrote in the release.
