AOC reports new price increases
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – AOC, LLC will increase its prices U.S. $0.08 per pound on all resins, gel coats, pigments, colorants and additives for the United States, Canada (CN $0.17 per kilo), Mexico and export shipments to Central America and the Caribbean, effective for all shipments on and after Aug. 2, 2008, the company said in a statement this week.
AOC will also raise prices on product delivered in drums an additional U.S. $0.02 per pound (CN $0.04 per kilo) effective Aug. 2, 2008.
“Across the board increases, which this industry has never experienced, continue on freight, fuel surcharges and raw materials to manufacture and deliver products to our customers,” said Jack Roesle, AOC’s vice president of sales and marketing in the statement.
