Imtech Marine Group to be launched

HAMBURG – The Imtech Marine Group will be officially launched at the marine exhibition SMM Hamburg, scheduled to take place Sept. 23-26, it reported in a recent statement.

Imtech Marine Group is an independent group of Imtech companies that are joining forces to offer the marine industry a range of technical systems and services in automation, nav/com, HVAC, fire protection, energy and AV entertainment. Its mission is to be the sustainable, reliable, global and technical partner for professionals in the marine industry, according to the group.

Imtech Marine Group includes companies like HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik, Imtech Marine & Offshore, Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik, Radio Holland Group and Royal Dirkzwager, employs more than 2,000 people and produced revenues in excess of € 500 Mio in 2007. Other members of the group include: Free Technics (Netherlands), HHEC (China), IHC Systems (Netherlands), Pertec (South Africa), Sailtron (Netherlands), Seacoast (USA), Tess Electrical Marine (USA), Van Berge Henegouwen Installaties (Netherlands) and Venteville (Netherlands).

The Imtech Marine Group, which has more than 70 offices worldwide, will serve merchant and cargo ships, offshore supply and construction vessels, special vessels, megayachts, cruise vessels and naval ships.
