BRP adds Genuine Parts location in Florida
STURTEVANT, Wis. – BRP is expanding its Evinrude and Johnson Genuine Parts network for dealers in the United States with a new parts and accessories warehouse facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the company said in a press release Wednesday.
The warehouse opened April 15 and brings dealers expanded availability for genuine parts in a location where aftermarket suppliers have a strong presence. The new warehouse also increases the level of customer service provided and improves delivery times for dealers in the area.
“Opening a warehouse in the largest boating state in the U.S. allows us to offer dealers lower shipping costs with one-day standard ground delivery to the entire state, including the Florida Keys,” said Gary Wenzel, BRP Outboard Engines director of parts and accessories.
The Fort Lauderdale warehouse also improves parts delivery in the area through extended order cut-off times for normal and emergency orders. Ideally located close to the interstate, it provides easy dealer pick-up capability to more than 60 Evinrude dealerships in the area that need parts the same day.
