Expansion underway at Ultimate Boat Clubs
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ultimate Boat Clubs, Inc., a membership-based boating club, has opened its first two locations at Harbor Square Marina in Stamford, Conn., and The Saybrook Point Inn/Spa/Marina in Old Saybrook, Conn., where they will provide a fleet of boats for their members, it reported in a recent statement.
The club, which offers one-, three- and five-year memberships, said it also has plans to open locations in Westchester, N.Y. and throughout Connecticut.
For 2008, Ultimate plans to have locations along the Long Island Sound, including Mamaroneck, N.Y.; Norwalk, Conn.; Milford, Conn.; Madison, Conn.; Essex, Conn.; New London, Conn.; Mystic, Conn.; Greenport, N.Y., it stated on its Web site. In addition to the Boat Club, some locations will have the option to step up to the Cruiser Club or even the Yacht Club, the company added.
After building out Long Island Sound, Ultimate plans to expand into other areas, particularly vacation areas that will give our members the opportunity to use other locations while on vacation, it said.
