Marine suppliers plan merger
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – HiTide Manufacturing Group LLC, Kissimmee, Fla., will assimilate manufacturing and distribution of the Jim Black & Associates marine product line, it reported in a recent statement.
The line includes boat escape and ventilation hatches, small doors, tackle centers and port lights. The company-planned merger of the Jim Black & Associates marine product line to the HMG facility in Kissimmee will be completed shortly, the company said.
Jim Black, president of Jim Black & Associates, Inc., plans to continue in his design and development capacity. HMG President Rick Hord said his company will expand its current operation to produce and distribute the product line.
Tampa, Fla.-based Jim Black & Associates, Inc., established in 1988, originally produced marine yacht lighting fixtures, but then expanded into design and production of marine hatches, port lights and doors.
