Jeppesen signs four new distributors
PORTLAND, Ore. – Jeppesen Marine has signed a distributorship agreement with four companies to begin marketing and selling Jeppesen’s Nobeltec branded marine navigation software solutions and data in the Middle East and Europe, the company said in a press release Friday.
The new distributing companies are Atlas Technologies in Dubai, United Arab Emirates;
Navigreen Oy Ltd. in Helsinki, Finland; Navtronics in Alimos, Greece; and Offshore Sailing in Deinze, Belgium.
“We chose these four companies to distribute Nobeltec navigation products because they are all well-established with track records in the distribution of marine electronics,” said Shepard Tucker, senior manager of marketing and sales.
Atlas Telecom, the parent company of Atlas Technologies, has grown from a small, dedicated team of four in Abu Dhabi, to around 400 across the region.
Navigreen Oy Ltd. was established in 2007 and distributes a variety of marine navigation software and hardware products.
Navtronics is a marine electronics company specializing in communication, navigation and custom designs for personal computer-integrated systems.
Offshore Sailing conducts navigation courses in Flanders, Belgium. In the courses, trainees learn how to handle RADAR, GPS and other navigation apparatuses.
