IBBI honors suppliers
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Buying group Independent Boat Builders Inc. presented its 2007 Supplier of the Year awards during its annual Spring Purchasing Conference last week in St. Louis, Mo., it reported in a statement today.
IBBI honored three suppliers: GEM Products, EPCO Products, and MPI. Those companies were chosen based on a survey completed by IBBI members, rating suppliers in six key categories, the group reported.
“These three suppliers all were our top three performing suppliers during 2007,” IBBI Product Manager Marla Sawyer said in a statement. “We are honored to partner with these companies and look forward to growing our relationships.”
IBBI also honored three suppliers that narrowly missed out on supplier of the year status with Outstanding Partner Awards. The three suppliers receiving those awards were: Alloy Fasteners, Total Plastics, and Innovative Product Solutions.
IBBI, located in Benton, Ill., is a purchasing cooperative for boat builders with 21 members.
