Evinrude offers online fishing challenge

STURTEVANT, Wis. – BRP is giving away a chance to fish with an Evinrude professional angler and more than $175,000 in prize packages as part of its new Evinrude Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience Challenge, the company reported in a recent statement.

The free fantasy fishing virtual game is designed for participants to compete in the five remaining regular season FLW tournaments.

“We’ve created an online contest that allows participants to win prizes based on Evinrude professional anglers’ FLW tour success,” said Richard Palmersheim, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Outboard Marine Engines division, BRP. “The grand prize winner gets the Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience – a day on his/her home lake with the Evinrude angler of his/her choice. The selected angler will act as the winner’s own private expert, giving lessons on how to dominate the local fishing hole while using the new equipment the participant has won.”

The grand prize winner can choose a fantasy fishing trip with a Team Evinrude angler like Larry Nixon, three-time FLW tour champion, or Anthony Gagliardi, FLW Tour Angler of the Year, who will share their successful fishing tips and techniques to teach the winner how to catch even more fish. The pro will demonstrate how to use the new Evinrude E-TEC 250 H.O. powered Ranger Z520 Comanche boat, the Minn-Kota Maxxum Pro trolling motor and the Lowrance fish finder. He will even help the winner pick out the best equipment to buy using a $2,500 Cabela’s gift card, according to the company.

Additional prize packages include winner’s choice of an Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine, Ski-Doo snowmobile, Sea-Doo personal watercraft or Can-Am ATV. Complete game details and list of prize packages can be found on www.evinrude.com. BRP’s Evinrude Outboard Engines division is a sponsor of the FLW.
