Outerlimits named Best of Show

MIAMI – Miami International Boat Show owner the National Marine Manufacturers Association selected Outerlimits Powerboats from thousands of exhibitors as the Best Boat Display, Outerlimits said in a statement yesterday.

Outerlimits chose to debut its new SV 43, a race boat designed to compete in the Powerboat P1 World Championship race circuit, at the show and set about finding the most creative way to display it.

“The entire service and production team pulled together to create a unique way of showing our new boat,” said Mike Fiore, Outerlimits owner and president. “We are very proud of this award as it shows the creativity of our company in using technology and know how.”

A flatbed truck transported the custom-built aluminum structure used to support the carbon fiber hull to the show. The boat was hoisted with a crane to create the 43-foot tall display.
