Seaflex sees worldwide sales growth

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Seaflex AB, the manufacturer of a patented flexible mooring system, has experienced a 30-percent growth in worldwide sales year on year since the beginning of the millennium, the company reported in a recent statement.

The company, founded by the father of owner Lars Brandt in the 80s, has been chosen as the preferred supplier in a number of well known marinas, including the marina for the 2008 Olympic Games in China, the Al-Jumeirah project in Dubai and the Volvo Ocean Race marinas. In total, the company has more than a thousand installations worldwide.

Seaflex’s future strategy includes furthering its technology and broadening its product line. For example, it’s launching a new patented bypass system to further secure marinas that want additional security for their customers when extreme forces impact their moorings.

The company has recently moved its U.S office to St. Petersburg and employed an additional resource to meet its increased project volume in the North American market, it stated.
