Zodiac launches product micro Web sites

STEVENSVILLE, Md. – Zodiac of North America has launched four microsites focused on specific rigid inflatable boat product lines as part of an overall Internet marketing initiative to reach more boaters online, it reported in a statement today.

The four product lines and their new microsites are:

  • Zodiac Pro 15, Pro 20 and Pro 12 RIBs: www.zodiacpro15.com
  • Zodiac ProJet 350 and ProJet 420 RIBs: www.zodiacprojets.com
  • Zodiac Yachtline 340, 380, 420, 470 and 530 RIBs: www.zodiacyachtline.com
  • Zodiac Sharc Duotex inflatable tube fabric: www.zodiacsharc.com
  • Each of the Zodiac microsites provides photos and access to information many boat buyers look for online: a brief product overview, highlights of main features, specifications and a dealer locator.

    These microsites join www.zodiacCZ7.com, a microsite for Zodiac’s military crossover RIB, and are part of a growing portfolio of online properties for the company. Two social networking sites for military (www.hellonwater.com) and first responder customers (www.savemoresouls.com) are also under development and are scheduled to go live in late January, according to the company.

    “This is all about easing the hunt for quick, useful information on some of our most popular Zodiac RIB models, and on the inflatable tube fabric we launched recently,” said JJ. Marie, Zodiac of North America president.

    “Zodiac has a tremendous range of products, and serves many different types of customers worldwide,” Marie said. “The microsites create the equivalent of an expressway between us and boaters surfing online for a recreational RIB.”

    The sites also serve as a communication tool for dealers educating potential customers on Zodiac boats, the company added.
