COMITT to include Miami Boat Show trip

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Full-registration to the Conference on Marine-Industry Technical Training will include transportation to and from Miami and admission to the Miami Boat Show on Feb. 18, COMITT organizers reported in a release over the weekend.

The schedule will provide industry educators and trainers with the opportunity to see all that’s new on the showroom floor – and to find out all that’s new in workforce development, training tools, and educational trends, too.

There will also be a reception at Gallery One on the IntraCoastal Waterway for COMITT attendees that evening.

COMITT, produced by the Marine Industry Technical Education Council, will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Feb. 18 – 20, dovetailing with the Miami International Boat Show.

COMITT’s seminars, presentations, and networking events have been planned to showcase new tools and technologies for recruiting, training, and retaining a top-notch workforce, organizers said.

Those uninterested in attending the boat show can register just for the two days of onsite programming in Fort Lauderdale.
