Skier’s Choice increases production
MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Skier’s Choice, Inc, manufacturer of Supra and Moomba inboard towboats, increased production from 10 boats a day to 11 as a response to market demand, it reported in a statement today.
Each year with the unveiling of new models, from the Supra and Moomba product lines, dealers have continued to demand more product than available, according to the company.
“We are very appreciative of the tremendous confidence our dealers showed in our products and team at our recent dealer meeting with record setting orders,” said Rick Tinker, president of Skiers Choice.
Tinker attributed the milestone to team members at Skier’s Choice and their efforts to implement Lean and improve quality. The company said Lean education has been a primary focus at Skier’s Choice for much of the past year with a strong emphasis on the application of important lean principles in manufacturing, source quality and material delivery.
