IBEX 2007 to make history
BROOKLIN, Maine – For the first time since relocating to Miami Beach, the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference will take up the entire Miami Beach Convention Center facility, including all exhibit halls and meeting rooms, organizers said in a press release Wednesday.
The total number of companies exhibiting at IBEX 2007 will exceed 900, including manufacturers and suppliers from six continents. IBEX takes places Oct. 10-12 with a pre-conference day on Oct. 9.
“We had a great response from the trade when we began selling exhibit space for this year’s show,” said Carl Cramer, IBEX co-director and Professional BoatBuilder magazine publisher. “Many annual exhibitors increased the size of their spaces, and hundreds of notable companies will be exhibiting at IBEX for the first time in 2007.”
Specialty pavilions have been added to assist visitors in navigating the massive IBEX floor plan.
“The new Tool & Machinery pavilion will be located next to an expanded Composites Pavilion and a new Compliance & Standards Resource area,” Cramer said.
Many exhibiting companies are also producing pre-conference workshops the day before the show, exhibitors’ workshops each afternoon of the show and ongoing outdoor technical demonstrations.
