SEATTLE – YachtWorld.com and boats.com have added Video Brochures, a new service for boat brokers and dealers in North America, intended to give broker and dealer listings an interactive feel while allowing consumers the sensation of a walk-through, the companies reported in a release yesterday.
“Effective Internet marketing is absolutely essential in today’s competitive environment,” said Debra Keene Bergeron, general manager of boats.com and YachtWorld.com, “and we are committed to providing our brokers and dealers every tool they need to stay ahead of their competition. Studies show that over 50 percent of consumers who watch an online video ad are likely to take action that, for 12 percent of them, leads to a purchase.”
YachtWorld.com brokers and boats.com dealers can create a video brochure for any of their boat listings – and display as many as they wish on their own Web sites, according to the companies.
