Pacific Boats and Yachts reports record sales
KONA, Hawaii – One of Hawaii’s 50 fastest growing companies four times since 2000, Pacific Boats and Yachts, LLC continued the steady growth of its boat and yacht sales and consulting businesses again last year, garnering yet another Hawaii’s Fastest 50 Award last week, Rick Gaffney, the firm’s owner and managing broker, said in a recent statement.
“Despite a declining economy, we’re pleased that our team of dedicated yacht brokers and boating experts has been able to continue to grow our business,” Gaffney said. “It seems that our current customers are pleased with the wide range of services we offer, and we constantly strive to be sure that new customers can find us.”
As part of its business growth strategy PBY said it actively participates in local, national and international boating industry events. The company said it also continues to establish strong sales relationships with manufacturers and brokerages in and outside Hawaii to help add to its portfolio of products. PBY represents CABO Yachts, Catalina Yachts, Scout Boats and DeepV Marine in Hawaii and has just been signed as the Albemarle dealer for Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
“Last year was a challenging year for the boating industry nationally, but in 2006 Hawaii was blessed with a stable economy. Sales figures grew ahead of our earlier figures through a combination of sales of new and used luxury boats, and the continued success of our ocean recreation business consulting,” said Gaffney. “Pacific Boats and Yachts held listings for, and sold boats to, buyers and sellers from all over the state, and from as far away as Kansas and Alberta, Canada.”
The company said it’s on track to break more sales records this year.
