iboats.com surpasses 100,000 forum members
SALT LAKE CITY – Membership in the iboats.com forums recently surpassed 100,000, the company said in recent a press release.
There are now more than 1.4 million posts in the forums answering over 213,000 different boating-related questions. The average question asked on the forums now receives answers from 6.7 different posters, an increase of 17.5 percent over the last two years. The number of boating-related discussion categories has increased from 22 to 25 over the same period of time, iboats.com said.
The number of individual boat lines listed has increased to 128 different manufacturers’ lines of boats with many hundreds of questions and answers being posted for each line.
“It is increasingly clear that there are large numbers of boaters throughout North America and the world who need help on a very wide range of boating and marine-related topics, and that iboats.com is helping the more than four million monthly visitors to our Web sites fill those needs through our large and powerful online search engine capabilities in our forums,” said Bruno Vassel III, chairman and CEO of iboats, inc.
