Raymarine rolls out its mobile showrooms

MERRIMACK, N.H. – Marine electronics manufacturer Raymarine has released the full tour schedules for its two mobile showrooms, the Ray-3 and Ray-4, which will be traveling to multiple East Coast events throughout the remainder of 2007.

Staffed by licensed captains, each 32-foot trailer is equipped with Raymarine’s latest products, including the company’s full line of multifunction displays and Sirius Satellite weather receivers. Additionally, the mobile showrooms exhibit Raymarine’s HD digital fishfinders, radar, autopilots, wireless remote technology and more. Self-contained with their own power supplies, the Ray-3 and Ray-4 both feature a plasma TV, wireless Internet capabilities and an indoor helm.

The Ray-4 is driven by Ian Hines, a professional boat captain with over ten years of sailing and power boating experience and an exceptional knowledge of marine repair and installation. Hines and the Ray-4 will appear at a number of upcoming events in the Southeast, such as the Tampa Boat Show, the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show and the FLW and SKA Championships in Biloxi, Miss.

The identical Ray-3 is staffed by Matthew Stein, a long-time captain and boating professional whose experience ranges from yacht chartering in the Caribbean to yacht brokering from Maine to Lake Michigan. The Ray-3 will be traveling to a number of Mid-Atlantic events over the next five months, including the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament in North Carolina and the Mid-Atlantic $500,000 in Cape May, N.J. Both showrooms will continue to tour the coast, attending various boat shows and tournaments throughout the remainder of the year.
