Hinckley acquires Winter Yacht Basin
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – The Hinckley Company has acquired the Winter Yacht Basin in Mantoloking, N.J., Hinckley said in a press release yesterday.
The New Jersey location will be the seventh Hinckley full service yacht yard on the East Coast. With 110 boat slips and winter storage for more than 300 boats, the yard will be the fourth largest Hinckley Service location. Rob Hoyle will be operations manager for the yard. John Glessner will be assistant operations manager.
“Hinckley has always been committed to offering the highest level of service to its customers,” said Ralph Willard, the company’s acting CEO. “The time had come to find a top-shelf service yard on the Jersey Shore that was convenient not only to Hinckley owners, but to all boaters looking for Hinckley-caliber service and bring it under the Hinckley umbrella.”
