SIYS opens fifth location
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Staten Island Yacht Sales has opened a Maryland office, named SI Yachts – Maryland, to exclusively cater to its Maryland and Virginia area clientele, SIYS President Frank Bongiorno said in a press release yesterday.
The new office, located in Stevensville, Md., will be headed by branch manager, John Martini, a Chesapeake Bay area native who has held many management positions during a long boating career in the area.
“We are fortunate to have John onboard as part of our team,” Bongiorno said. “His local knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay area is a huge asset. We feel it is a very valuable emerging market that fits with our growth objectives and John is the right candidate to grow this market.”
With the recent opening, Staten Island Yacht Sales now has five on-water locations. The other four are located in Staten Island, N.Y.; Montauk, N.Y.; Freeport, N.Y.; and New Gretna, N.J.
