ShoreMaster acquires Aviva Sports product line
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – ShoreMaster, Inc., has acquired the Aviva Sports product line from Aviva Sports, L.L.C. of Montreal, Mo., and will operate it through Aviva Sports, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ShoreMaster, the company reported in a release yesterday.
ShoreMaster, located in Fergus Falls, Minn., is an operating company of Otter Tail Corp. The transaction involved an exchange of cash for assets, although terms were not disclosed
The Aviva Sports product line is sold worldwide and consists of more than 50 products for consumer use in the pool, lake and yard, as well as commercial use at summer camps, resorts and large public swimming pools.
“Aviva is a great product line that fits well within our company,” said Erik Ahlgren, president of ShoreMaster. “We look forward to helping Aviva become a dominant player in this industry.”
In addition to its Fergus Falls operations, the company has plant locations in Camdenton, Mo.; Adelanto, Calif.; and St. Augustine, Fla.
