boats.com and NMMA name Web Award winners
SEATTLE – boats.com and the National Marine Manufacturers Association recognized marine Web site excellence at the third annual North American Marine Industry Web Awards competition yesterday during the 2007 Miami International Boat Show Media Breakfast, boats.com said in a statement yesterday.
Launched in 2004, the Marine Web Awards program recognizes company Web sites that demonstrate a higher standard of excellence in creative design, ease of navigation and the presentation of up-to-date content.
The winners were named in five categories. The award for Best Marine Site Overall was presented to Mercury Racing. HMY Yacht Sales received the award for Best Dealer/Broker Site. Judges gave the award for Best OEM/Manufacturer Site to Meridian Yachts. Blue Sea Systems took home the trophy for Best Marine Equipment Site. The panel of judges honored Boating Life magazine for the most Outstanding Contribution to the Online Marine Industry.
