Blue Fin expands distribution, increases production
BRISTOL, R.I. – Blue Fin Sport Fishing Boats is expanding its distribution to South America, the Caribbean and the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, California, Oregon and Washington, the company said in a release this week.
Upon completing an agreement with South East Blue Fin LLC as a distributor for the above mentioned regions, Blue Fin, which has been building boats since 1974, entered into a relationship with Albin Marine, located in Portsmouth R.I., to increase production of its 25, 27 and 30 foot boats. Production of the 33 Canyon will remain in Florida. Two new express models are planned, a 36 and a 42.
“We are very excited about this,” said Greg Sullivan, Blue Fin’s general manager. “It’s a great opportunity to get our name out there as a serious offshore fishing machine.”
