TMA launches new Web site

CHICAGO – The Trailer Manufacturers Association launched the organization’s first-ever Web site at the beginning of the New Year, trailermanufacturersassociation.org, to provide information for both trailer manufacturers and consumers, the National Marine Manufacturers Association reported in a release today.

The site gives consumers access to information and points to consider when shopping for a boat trailer.

For TMA members, an area of the site is specifically designated to allow them access to information, which pertains directly to trailer manufacturers and their business, including updates on safety and regulations changes and trailer certification requirements under the National Marine Manufacturers Association’s Trailer Certification program.

The site also features a TMA blog, accessible through the “Members-Only” section, where association members can comment on issues affecting their segment of the marine industry.

“The new TMA Web site is not only user-friendly, but its content caters to both consumer and industry audiences alike,” says Gary Potter, TMA chairman and vice president and general manager of E Z Loader Boat Trailers’ Custom Division. “We now have one online source where both customers and manufacturers can go to learn everything they need to know about boat trailers and what issues affect our segment of the market.”
