Unified continues Tennessee expansion
NEWPORT, Tenn. – Unified Marine, Inc., manufacturer of SeaSense brand boating and trailer accessories, has purchased 17 additional acres adjacent to it’s current 22-acre operation and plans to include additional loading bays, an expanded product testing laboratory and an onsite office building to relocate employees from temporary offices, the company said in a release this week.
This expansion was made possible thanks to a $300,000 grant in October from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to provide sufficient water supply for fire protection at the facility.
“This addition will allow us to keep pace with current demand and provide ample space for expansion in the future,” said Marc Emmi, Unified President.
