MIAMI – Info-Link, a boating industry provider of marketing information, is launching customized market share reports for marine dealers in an effort to help dealers evaluate their position in their local market vs. competitive brands and the market at large, it recently reported.

By periodically looking at what’s going on in your own market, you will be able to effectively plot a course for growth. This information can be used to learn what your competitors are doing, assess your own potential, and negotiate with manufacturers. And if you are a smaller, independent dealer, it puts you more on par with the big guys who are already exploiting this information in their businesses.”
The program is endorsed by the Marine Retailers Association of America, and a 20-percent discount has been negotiated for dealers who are MRAA members, according to Info-Link, which will be exhibiting at the MRAA Convention in Las Vegas next week.
Pricing is based on the number of locations and the types/styles of boats for which the dealership is seeking a report.
