Vinyl Ester resins price to increase
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc.’s Composite Polymers business, will institute a five cent per pound price increase for all Vinyl Ester resins, the company said in a press release yesterday. The increase is effective for all products shipped on or after Nov. 27.
Hexion’s Composite Polymers business produces unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins for use in reinforced composites and cast polymer products. These customized resins are formulated for use in a variety of markets including transportation, construction, infrastructure, marine and consumer goods.
