Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Marine Accessories Corp., a manufacturer of marine canvas, wakeboard tower and performance fishing products, has combined three of its companies to form MAC Canvas Solutions, Marine Accessories Corp. said in a release yesterday.
The individual companies were, Boatswain's Locker of Jacksonville, Fla., Great Lakes Boat Top of Vonore, Tenn. and Westland of Phoenix, Ariz. Together, as MAC Canvas Solutions, the companies will share engineering resources and manufacturing capabilities to give boat manufacturers a single source for all canvas projects across an entire line.
The new company will ensure product consistency across the brand offerings and expedite the entire process from design to production, MAC said.
"Integrating our competencies in marine canvas applications makes all the sense in the world, both for MAC and the customers we serve,” said Rick Reyenger, MAC's CEO. “We are making significant investments in our engineering and global manufacturing capabilities to bring efficiencies and potential cost savings to our current customers and any manufacturers seeking a reliable and experienced canvas provider that can handle any project large or small.”
