Second Philadelphia show may be bigger than first

PHILADELPHIA — The second MAC Events Boat Show-Philadelphia, scheduled to take place March 22-25 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, is expected to exceed the size of last year’s show, organizers said in a recent release.

“We were delighted with the consumer response to last year’s show,” said show producer Kevin McLaughlin of MAC Events, Spring Lake, NJ. “After a four-year hiatus, there was clearly a pent-up demand for a boat show here. And early response from exhibitors suggests that the 2007 show will be even bigger and better.”

The 2006 show had more than 290,000 square feet of exhibits and over $12 million of boats and equipment on display. The Fisherman Magazine will once again conduct more than 15 boating and fresh- and saltwater fishing seminars during the show.
