YachtWorld.com attracts record traffic

SEATTLE – YachtWorld.com had record visitor traffic to its Web site for September, the company said in a statement yesterday.

The Web site broke 3 million page views for three days and experienced 100,000 site visitors and double digit growth over the previous year in page views, site visitors and e-mail leads to brokers. YachtWorld brokers reported September sales at soldboats.com in excess of $58 million.

“We are pleased our efforts to bring more boat buyers and sellers to our brokerage partners continue to be successful,” said Bob Summers, YachtWorld.com business development manager. “Our mission is, and has always been, to help brokers sell more boats. Upcoming products and services will continue that tradition.”

YachtWorld.com’s recent innovations include the BoatExporter service, which allows brokers to enter their listings once and display them on major websites; LeadManager, which allows brokers to manage their customer list and incoming leads; and Sponsored Search results, which allows brokers to add visibility through targeted positioning.
