Boat Show sells out N.J. Convention Center

EDISON, N.J. – All of the exhibit space in the N.J. Convention Center has sold out for the 19th Annual Fall NJ Boat Show, which opens today, organizers reported in a release this week.

The state’s oldest and largest fall indoor boat show is making history this year with more boats on exhibit by more manufacturers than any other fall boats show past or present. Dealers from throughout New Jersey and the Metropolitan New York area will exhibit more than 300 boats by approximately 60 manufacturers.

The show will fill all 150,000 square feet the N.J. Convention Center’s indoor Exhibit Hall. Show guests will find a choice of models in every recreational boating segment from inexpensive runabout and the full range of sport boats to express cruisers and offshore fishing boats.

“The location is convenient whether you live in northern NJ or Manhattan or down the shore and there’s plenty of free parking,” said show director Kevin McLaughlin. “Our guests will spend their time exploring the latest boat models from the world’s top pleasure boat manufacturers instead of looking for a parking space.”

The show will also feature the full range of marine accessories, water sport gear, fishing tackle and service companies, including insurance and finance companies.

“Exhibit space for this year’s show sold out fast because the Fall N.J. Boat Show has the critical mass to draw top dealers you will not find at other fall shows in the region,” McLaughlin said.
