Knight & Carver partners with yacht painting firm
SAN DIEGO – Yacht refit/repair company Knight & Carver YachtCenter has partnered with Renegade Super Grafix, a yacht painting firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Knight and Carver said in a statement yesterday.
Starting immediately, Renegade will be present at Knight & Carver’s San Diego Bay facility, utilizing Renegade’s team of professionals.
“We are extremely pleased to align with Renegade Super Grafix in this important venture,” said Sampson Brown, Knight & Carver president and CEO. “We now are able to provide Renegade’s painting services for virtually any size yacht to our growing client base.”
For start-up operations, Renegade intends to re-locate as many as 12 of its top employees to San Diego from its current operations, with 20 on-site employees anticipated by year’s end, said Michael Savides, the Renegade’s South Florida and Gulfport, Miss., operations manager. Douglas McCandless will serve as San Diego operations manager.
