NY/NJ boat show sells out

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The New York/New Jersey International Boat Show has sold out its exhibitor space for this year’s show, Sept. 28 – Oct. 1, 2006 at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, N.J., organizers reported in a recent statement.

More than 300 boats will be on display at the show in Liberty State Park. Additionally, many of these boats will be available for on-location sea trial demonstrations.

This year’s show features expanded land space offering exhibitors two clear span buildings totaling 50,000 square feet and the show once again has secured A through F docks in the marina. Both the tent and slips have sold out. This year’s show features almost 100 boats indoors.

“We are pleased to announce that we have sold out the Fall boat show,” said show promoter Ken Tesler of Liberty Event Management. “With BP joining as our presenting sponsor, we have been able to significantly increase our marketing efforts. BP is marketing the show throughout its stations in the New York and New Jersey markets.”

The New York/New Jersey International Boat Show also has secured a sponsorship and marketing partnership with The Star-Ledger newspaper and NJ101.5 radio that has resulted in a print and radio marketing campaign.

Exhibitors will also be able to enjoy two special events courtesy of GE: a stage-in day barbecue and an Opening Day Welcome Party are both planned. GE will also host a dealer hospitality lounge available to dealers for the duration of the show, organizers reported.
