Texas association joins MRAA Challenge 1000

OAK PARK, Ill. – The Board of Directors of the Boating Trades Association of Metropolitan Houston (BTAMH) has agreed to join the Marine Retailers Association of America’s (MRAA) “Challenge 1000,” the MRAA reported in a recent statement.

Challenge 1000 is an effort spearheaded by 59 MRAA members, designed to encourage 1000 marine dealers to attend the MRAA Annual Convention.

BTAMH will pay the registration fees for all of the BTAMH/MRAA members who attend the convention, according to MRAA.

“BTAMH continues to be a strong supporter of MRAA and we’re delighted we can participate in making the attendance goals for this important meeting,” said Ken Lovell, executive director.

“BTAMH is one of the oldest and strongest MTAs in the nation and MRAA greatly appreciates their commitment,” commented MRAA President Phil Keeter. “Some of our most active members come from BTAMH.”

BTAMH joins the Lake Erie Marine Trades Association as major associations who have put together incentive packages for convention attendance for their members.
