Godfrey to help dealers pay for certification

CHICAGO – Godfrey Marine Group will assist dealers with the costs associated with becoming certified under the Grow Boating Initiative’s Marine Industry Dealership Certification Program, the program administrators reported in a recent statement.

The offer, which is being extended to dealers of the Sanpan, Aqua Patio, Sweetwater, Parti Kraft, Polar Kraft, Polar and Hurricane brands, allows dealerships to receive up to 50 percent reimbursement of total certification costs via Godfrey’s “Flex-Funds” program after the certification process is complete.

“Godfrey Marine is committed to supporting our dealers become certified under the Marine Industry Dealership Certification program,” said Robert Moran, Godfrey Marine Group CEO. “Dealers participating in the program thus far have already seen positive results in terms of sales and consumer satisfaction. Our goal is to assist Godfrey dealers in elevating their respective businesses and realize an exceptional level of service, which drives the retail consumers’ boat buying experience.”

To date, a total of 340 dealerships have enrolled in the Marine Industry Dealership Certification program, 88 of which have completed the certification process and earned the official “Marine Industry Certified” designation, according to program administrators.
