National Dry Stack Conference is scheduled

WARREN, R.I. – The International Marina Institute, a subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries, has scheduled its seventh annual National Dry Stack Conference for Oct. 22–25, in West Palm Beach, Fla., IMI said in a release yesterday.

The three-day National Dry Stack Conference, which was scheduled to take place immediately before the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, is a professional-development opportunity for those interested in the latest in dry-stack technology as part of their daily business responsibilities.

The first two days of the conference showcase such seminar topics as managing hurricane risks, reconfiguring an older marina and understanding OSHA standards for marina forklift operators. The final day of the conference features a tour of three area marinas of various sizes.

The National Dry Stack Conference combines educational programs in an ideal venue for marina professionals who wish to network with leading managers, developers and vendors.
