ITC to formally launch consumer line at MAATS

HOLLAND, Mich. – Marine accessories manufacturer ITC, Inc., which announced plans in March to expand into the aftermarket arena by making lighting, plumbing and hardware products available to consumers under the Manufacturers’ Select brand name, will formally launch the brand at MAATS 2006, the company said in a release yesterday.

The company has reported a “strong initial response” to its new Manufacturers’ Select retail line of marine and RV accessories and will showcase them at its booth during the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show to be held July 19-21 at the Las Vegas Hilton and Convention Center.

“We recognize that the retail aftermarket is an important segment of our industry,” says Patrick Weiss, aftermarket sales manager. “With our proven success at the OEM level, it’s logical to approach consumers with the same high-quality products. The brand has already been well-received, even before MAATS, with distributors showing interest and placing orders. We’re confident consumers will look to us when upgrading, replacing or refitting accessories.”
