Brunswick launches Laguna line
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – The Brunswick Boat Group has introduced a line of Laguna fishing boats to be sold through MarineMax and other select Brunswick dealers, the company said in a recent press release.
This isn’t the first time the brand name has been used, however. Sea Ray once featured a Laguna line of boats.
Initially, this new Laguna line-up will include five models – two bay boats and three center console boats, rigged with Mercury 4-stroke engines.
“The Brunswick Saltwater Boat Group is bringing a quality brand of feature-rich boats to the market,” said Ron Berman, the Group’s vice president of product and development. “The Laguna portfolio is sure to satisfy the fishing enthusiast, with little need for upgrades or added options.”
Distribution will begin through MarineMax’s Pompano Beach and Venice, Fla., stores followed by a quick rollout through the summer to its other stores. Laguna boats will be sold in several key boating and fishing areas, including Texas, Florida, North Carolina, the Great Lakes, and several Northeastern states.

Laguna, a business unit of the Brunswick Saltwater Boat Group, is headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and is comprised of bay and center console fishing boats from 18 to 24 feet
