Powerboat sales decline appears to be flattening

MIAMI – The powerboat market was on the decline early this year, compared to last year; however, the April update of Info-Link’s Bellwether Report appears to carry good news.

“The bellwether states through April seem to suggest a flattening of the overall 15 ft-plus powerboat market on a longer term trend basis,” said Jesse Wells, director of sales & marketing at Info-Link. “This hopefully means there won’t be further decline, however, the value of our Bellwether Report in terms of predicting how 2006 will finish is strengthening dramatically with each spring and summer month, so stay tuned.”
