Carolina Skiff to construct new facility
WAYCROSS, Ga. – Due to continued demand for boats in the Sea Chaser line, Carolina Skiff is adding another plant to the facilities at its headquarters in Waycross, Ga., the company reported in a recent statement.
The new 100,000 square foot facility will exclusively manufacture boats in the Sea Chaser line. The entire line, which includes five series of boats, the Offshore, Walk-Around Cuddy, Bay Runner, Flats Series and Roll Gunnel, has consistently been the largest volume manufacturer of similar boats, and the opening of this new facility will allow Carolina Skiff to continue to meet the demand of consumers for these models, the company said.
“We are excited for the new facility to open for production and to increase our production of the boats under the Sea Chaser name,” said Robert Sass, director of marketing for Carolina Skiff.
