Ski and sterndrive boat sales trending up

MIAMI – Sales of powerboats 15 feet and above are down slightly, according to Info-Link’s Bellwether Report for February. But some market segments within this group are trending up, the company reported.

“As with any winter month, the relatively low numbers should be carefully considered when making any interpretations,” commented Jesse Wells, director of sales and marketing at Info-Link. “However, the uptick in the 12-month moving averages for the ski boat and stern drive categories bears watching as the spring starts to develop into early summer.”
