MRAA adds marketing services to member benefits

OAK PARK, Ill. – The Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) has set up a deal with Chicago-based Shared Marketing Services to provide its members with a new benefit, the association reported in a statement yesterday.

Shared Marketing Services (SMS) specializes in the management and administration of media programs for dealers, MRAA reported. Branding, creative and media services with several different packages or options will be available to the association’s members.

“Brochures, direct mail pieces, in store signage, boat show giveaways and fliers are invaluable to dealers as a part of their total marketing plan,” said Phil Keeter, MRAA president. “Yet, they don’t have adequate staff to implement these efforts. But now thru our endorsement of Shared Marketing they just increased their staff.”

“We will offer a 5-percent discount to all MRAA members,” said Al Marks, SMS director of business development. “By doing so, we hope to help grow the organization. Utilizing our network of vendors, we will get the dealers the best rates for magazines, newspapers, radio and direct mail. Working with our data partner, Info-link will ensure that the dealers get highly segmented mailing lists and the best one-to-one personalization.”
