Headhunter named South Florida Manufacturer of the Year
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Headhunter, Inc. was honored March 15 during the annual awards banquet for the South Florida Manufacturers Association with the South Florida Manufacturer of the Year Award, the company said in a statement March 16.
Judging criteria included commitment to employees, growth over the past two years, commitment to the community, dedication to quality, and innovative systems and products.
Headhunter was selected over not only other marine manufacturers, but a broad cross section of all manufacturers in a wide variety of industries in all of South Florida. Paul Mellinger, Headhunter vice president, accepted the award on behalf of Headhunter.
“This award is satisfying not only because it validates the achievements of our team in 2005, including ISO-9001 Certification, but also because it represents the first time a company from the marine industry has won the award and acknowledges the positive impact of our industry on the South Florida economy,” Mellinger said.
Brian Neff, SFMA vice president, added, “Headhunter deserves the award, they are a leader in their industry, and I believe they will continue on their journey to success.”
