Marine 1One sets date for 2006 dealer show

ATLANTA – The Marine 1One group, a program distribution group of marine accessory distributors, has finalized its plans for the annual 2006 dealer buying show, it said in a press release Friday.

The show will be held Nov. 6 and 7 at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The Riviera will be an improvement over Marine 1One’s past show location, said Ray Lorenz, president of Lorenz & Jones Marine Distributors and the group’s show committee chairman.

The new venue will allow the group to expand the number of manufacturer booths on the show floor and provide pre-show dealer educational and technical seminars on Nov. 5. The BoatSmart model store concept, shown at last year’s Marine 1One show, will return for this year’s event, the group reported.

“We will be discussing show plans in much greater detail with our dealers and suppliers in the coming months and will be releasing upcoming marketing plans for this annual industry event,” said Kit Rehm, Marine 1One group president.
