SailNet.com undergoes redesign
THORNTON, Penn. – SailNet.com, the online sailing community, has launched a re-designed Web site with new features and upgrades to enhance users’ experience, the company said in a press release March 6.
These changes include new forums, photo galleries, blogs, boat reviews and classifieds.
“Since launching the new Web site, we have already seen a 50 percent growth in activity from our members, which has grown to well over 100,000 strong,” said Rob Proctor, SailNet CEO. “Plus, it has resulted in a significant growth in orders at the SailNet Store. With hundreds of members online at SailNet eager to answer questions, share opinions and experiences, and help other members, the upgrades make the exchange between our members easier and more effective and enjoyable.”

“This was an aggressive project to redesign the SailNet Web site while preserving what was best on the site and replacing the old and antiquated features,” said Jeff Jennings, SailNet community president. “We plan to continue enhancing the new SailNet Web site to make membership even more beneficial to all sailors at any stage of there sailing life or experience.”
