Unified Marine to open Tennessee manufacturing facility

Naples, Fla. – Unified Marine, Inc., has finalized contracts to purchase a new 40,000 square foot facility on 20 acres of property near Knoxville, Tenn., the company reported in a recent release.

Unified Marine, which manufactures SeaSense marine and trailer accessories, expects the new office, warehouse and manufacturing facility to be fully operational by May, but said it would still retain facilities in Naples, Fla., where it was founded in 1984.

The Knoxville location was chosen strategically to put Unified within a one-day shipment to over 70 percent of the U.S. population. The company said it also considered rising property values and a stable work force when deciding on the location.

“A centralized location with room to grow will give Unified a competitive edge in customer service and facilitate future expansion,” said Unified CEO David Nirenberg.
