Walker Bay Boats signs two new distributors

UNION GAP, Wash. – Walker Bay Boats Inc. has added two distributors: Lorenz & Jones Marine Distributors and Vita-Plate Marine, according to a statement from Walker Bay today. Both companies will carry the full line of original hard-shell dinghies.

“We are pleased to have these two reputable companies join our network,” said Dirk Boehmer, Walker Bay’s vice president of North American sales. “They have strong relationships with dealers that will ensure our products are well represented.”

Lorenz & Jones has been supplying the Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado marine markets since 1921. The distributor’s facility in Ankeny, Iowa houses product from over 140 vendors.

Vita-Plate Marine will sell to the Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Indiana markets that they have been selling to for over 50 years. They carry over 160 product lines.
